Acacia victoriae (Bramble Wattle) is from dry inland areas of Australia, where underground water can be found. This 15 to 25 foot tall tree has blue green phyllodes that complement our desert pallet of color. The pale yellow ball flower in spring is fragrant. The tree is armed with spines less than 1 inch in length. When blooming and seeding this tree needs supplemental irrigation where underground water is not available.
